My journey in Canada
I was born and raised in India. I started my own new journey in Canada as an international student to pursue my Masters in Business Administration in 2010. I instantly fell in love with this country, its people and the opportunities here. I have been calling Canada home ever since and would not want it any other way. After graduation, I obtained my Post Graduate Work Permit in 2012 and secured full-time employment in Canada. By then I wanted to settle down permanently in Canada and my job helped me to qualify for permanent residency. I became a Permanent Resident of Canada in 2015 and a proud Canadian Citizen in 2018.
How it all began
Life is a journey. I had been through various immigration stages in my journey in Canada and realized with my experience, that Canadian immigration is complex. I understood that just like myself, it is a dream for many people across the globe to start their new journey in Canada and want to make it their home. It is not just about entering Canada, but rather going through the journey of different immigration stages, for many people, becoming Canadian Citizens one day.
Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant
Based on my personal experience in Canada, I had the vision to start my own immigration firm to help people with dreams to not only begin their new journey in Canada but to be part of their immigration journey at various stages by assisting them in achieving all of their immigration goals. In order to pursue my vision, I graduated with a program in Immigration Laws, Policies and Procedures from the University of British Columbia. Following, I qualified by taking the national regulatory exam to practice as an immigration consultant and secured the CICC (formerly ICCRC) designation - Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. Finally, I started my firm, New Journey Immigration, for which I’m the Founder and Managing Director.

New Journey Immigration is a CICC (formerly ICCRC) Licensed and Regulated Canadian Immigration Firm in Canada. This means that you are fully insured and protected under the law and I am authorized to represent you with immigration applications to the Canadian government. The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (formerly ICCRC), was established to protect the customers by regulating Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC) under the authority of the Government of Canada. Being CICC regulated means that I abide by the CICC Code of Professional Ethics in maintaining client confidentiality. I will only advise you to proceed with an application if you have a strong chance of success. I offer a variety of flexible and cost-effective packages for individuals seeking to enter or remain in Canada. I also recognize that every client’s circumstances are unique and provide tailored immigration solutions designed to meet individual needs.

My Qualifications
The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC)
The CICC is the national regulatory body that oversees regulated Canadian immigration professionals. CICC (formerly ICCRC) was established to protect the customers by regulating Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC) under the authority of the Government of Canada. CICC has a federal mandate to regulate individuals who provide Canadian immigration, citizenship, and international student advising services. Individuals who reside outside Canada and provide regulated immigration services, or whose principal location of Canadian immigration services is outside Canada, are also subject to CICC regulation. I am a member in good standing of CICC.
Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC)
CAPIC was founded in 2004 through the amalgamation of the Association of Immigration Counsel of Canada and the Organization of Professional Immigration Consultants, based on the pillars of Education, Information, Lobbying, and Recognition. I am a member in good standing of CAPIC.
Association of Professional Canadian Consultants (APCC)
The APCC is a not-for-profit professional association committed to promoting the interest of Independent Contractors in Canada by expanding membership services, as well as providing a forum for idea exchange, professional development, and industry advocacy.
I am a member in good standing of APCC. I exchange ideas with colleagues around the country to provide superior services to my clients. I strive to provide high caliber services with the highest standards of professionalism.
The Canadian Tamil Professionals Association (CTPA)
The CTPA is a non-profit, non-partisan organization focused on developing career opportunities for emerging and established Tamil Professionals.
I am a registered member of the Paalam Mentorship Program as a Mentor! A mentorship program that provides individuals at any stage of their career with the resources, guidance, and training required for a meaningful mentoring experience. A Commissioner of Oaths or a Commissioner for Taking Affidavits is a person appointed or designated under the Evidence Act to administer oaths and affirmations and to take affidavits and declarations. This program is administered by the Order in Council Administration Office in the Ministry of Attorney General.
